On behalf of the Milton Town School District, I would like to express appreciation for the support you have demonstrated by voting in favor of the FY26 School Budget along with the $8 million Bond to stabilize our Herrick facility.
The MTSD has an amazing faculty and staff who work in unison toward our district vision and to ensure that all students have access to a high quality, inclusive and safe learning environment. I am very proud of their collective efforts and our steady progress toward our goals:

To close our State identified equity gap

To increase the proficiency of underperforming students in ELA, math, and science.

To have all students reading at grade level by 3rd grade.

To increase access and engagement to learning for students with social emotional and mental health needs.
This budget season, it was the aim of the MTSD Board of Trustees to bring forward a budget that would provide schools with the funds necessary to achieve our goals while being mindful of the tax impact. With your support, we have maintained a level service budget while also securing funds to upgrade the Herrick facility.
We want the Milton Town School District to be the very best it can be. We know, strong schools create strong communities; we want to make the community strong and proud. We have an amazing faculty and staff, a vibrant and talented student body and an extremely supportive School Board; we are very fortunate.
